Roastery: The Heart of Our Coffee
Our passion for coffee goes beyond serving a good cup—it starts at the source. At Junction, we specialize in roasting coffee beans, with a strong focus on espresso roasts. However, as we continue to grow, we also explore different roasting profiles to cater to various brewing methods.
We take pride in sourcing high-quality beans at reasonable prices while ensuring that our farmers and suppliers are fairly supported. Coffee prices have fluctuated drastically worldwide, but instead of compromising on quality, we are committed to sourcing and supporting farmers right here in Mindanao.
Our main supply of Robusta beans comes from award-winning farmers and cooperatives in Bislig and Tagbina, Surigao del Sur—a testament to the rich coffee-growing potential of our region. For Arabica beans, we partner with trusted suppliers from Davao and Sultan Kudarat, ensuring that every batch we roast delivers the best possible flavor.
How It Started
The coffee scene in Surigao del Sur is still budding, and while the demand for quality coffee is growing, challenges like high shipping and delivery costs have made access to fresh beans difficult.
We saw an opportunity—not just to cut costs and secure our own supply—but also to help other cafe owners gain access to locally sourced, freshly roasted coffee. By roasting our own beans, we ensure quality control, consistency, and affordability, while also contributing to the growth of the local coffee industry.
By roasting our own coffee, we’re not just ensuring quality and consistency—we’re building a more sustainable and connected coffee community. Every batch we roast is a reflection of our passion for great coffee and our commitment to supporting local farmers and fellow cafe owners. As we continue to refine our craft and explore new roasting profiles, our goal remains the same: to bring out the best in every bean and share the rich flavors of Mindanao-grown coffee with more people.
